Valentine’s Day

Romantic Valentine's Day Dinner

Romantic Valentine's Day Dinner

Timing is very important, especially when Valentine’s Day falls on a Saturday as it does this year (2009). Waiting until the last minute can make it difficult to set “the perfect” itinerary. At the Munro House in Jonesville, we have made arrangements to be able to react to any request and make your date very close to perfect. A typical romantic getaway package for Valentine’s Day may include chocolates, flowers, massages, and dinner plus bed and breakfast in a fireplace room or a Jacuzzi room.

We have 4 massage therapists on retainer for Valentine’s Day–which happens to fall on a Saturday this year. We have access to Joseph Schmidt Chocolate Truffles and Floral arrangements of beautiful long stemmed red roses. Our best local restaurant is currently almost full for their dinner reservations between 6 and 8 o’clock, so you will need to be flexible with dinner times at the Chicago Water Grill on this date.

We typically have an itinerary set for you upon arrival, so you can just relax and follow the list. We arrange things so that it looks like you went to extremes to create the perfect getaway package when in reality, we talk to you for a few minutes and make it all happen for you. All you have to do is tell us what you want and we make it happen on a relaxed schedule.

The best choice of rooms for Valentine’s Day is usually right after New Years Day. By mid-January, we are typically filling up nicely. A week before, it can be hard to get a room at our Bed & Breakfast or any B&B in Michigan as this may be the highest demand date for winter romance–especially when it falls on a weekend. When it comes to romance, our Michigan B&B has the contacts and the experience to design a seamless getaway.

Life is good in Jonesville.
